Nebraska 3
While I was in Nebraska I got to go with my Dad and Diann to visit some people in their ward and people who were investigators. My Dad’s branch is kind of small and covers a lot of the inner city. We went and took thanksgiving dinner to a mom and her two daughters. It was so sad. The mom didn’t have teeth and the living conditions were just horrible. I never expected that it would be like that. I just felt so bad for these people, I don’t know how they could live like that. It’s weird to see the difference from what I saw there to what I saw in Africa. The Africans have mud huts, dirt floors and stick roofs but they keep them as tidy as they can. These people have houses that would last through a storm but they can’t keep them tidy or clean. Some of the houses have cock roaches all over them and just bugs and mice everywhere. If they could just take care of them they wouldn’t have all the problems. They are just use to living like that though so they don’t even realize how bad it is.
Aly
So my best friend Aly is from Spanish Fork. She graduated in 2008 and is playing softball for Salt Lake Community College. She is loving it and having such a good time at school. She is such a good friend who’s always good for a laugh and likes wearing blue sweats. Hank just said Scrum it when we were talking instead of screamed. Just thought I would put that in there. Aly wanted me to blog about her so here it is haha jk Al. Me and Aly have been friends since we were little but never really talked until we were in high school. We always played against each other and knew each other but never really talked. So Aly just decided that she is going to make a new Wizard of Oz. So Queen Latifah is the good witch, Nelly is the Wizard, Justin Timberlake is the Scarecrow, and she can’t decide on Dorothy and a few of the other ones but it would be pretty funny. haha She just randomly came up with that while sitting here. She is weird sometimes but she always makes us laugh.
Nebraska
Thanksgiving was a good time, I just ate with the Newman’s and hung out with the family. I got to meet some of their missionaries and a few new neighbors. There was this one lady that I met who was a new convert and she was so funny. She was always joking about when she was in jail and all of the times she was arrested. I couldn’t stop laughing every time she would tell a story. So Cami Newman got her mission call, she is going to Budapest Hungary. She leaves January 14, that’s so soon. She has so much to do so when we were in Nebraska we were always shopping and looking for things for her to take. She is so excited, and I’m so excited for her. She will be such a good missionary and is so ready to be a missionary. My cousin Hank is still sexier than ever, he’s just been workin and killin it on the skate and snowboard. He’s still lookin for a little hottie to call his own. So help a brother out. If you have anyone in mind just let him know he is always up for a good time.
Nebraska
I just got home from Nebraska. I went out there for thanksgiving to visit my dad and the Newman’s. It was the longest drive of my life. It took us 13 hours to get there. We left Tuesday night after my sophomore game and stopped in Laramie Wyoming to sleep for a few hours. We got up at 5 and drove the rest of the way. Cami is kind of a slow driver so we just tried to let me or Eric drive most of the way. I know this blog is boring but I have nothing else to blog about. When we got to Nebraska we went and picked up the kids from school and then I got to go see my Dad and Diann. It was so good to see them, I haven’t seen them since last may. I was so tired when we got there I just wanted to go to bed but we didn’t go to bed till like 1. I love the Newman’s and their family, they are so nice and are such amazing people. They would do anything for anyone and are always helping everyone out. I am so thankful that I got to hang out and be with them all weekend.

Well since the sememster is about over and I havent blogged anything yet, I figured I should probably start. And partially because my family keeps laughing at me for never blogging. Well quit a bit has happened. Hank came home that was huge! I missed him so much. He is still the same old Hank. He dragged me to a young single adult activity a few weeks ago and everyone thought we were dating it. I thought it was pretty funny. We played along with it for a little while and then it was just plain weird, haha. Before Halloween, Andrea, Brooklyn, Brayden, Nat and I went out to the Rowleys Red Barn and picked Pumpkins. It was a good time I thought it was going to be freezing but it was pretty warm. Brooklyn didnt want to walk around so she just sat down and played in the dirt it was pretty funny. Also about a week ago we went to Disney On Ice. I didnt think I was really going to like it but it wasnt so bad. Brayden kept coming up to me and grabbing my face. He had a death grip on my cheeks and the people behind us couldnt stop laughing at him. He kept getting his face super close to mine and I would look him in the eyes for a few seconds and then he would throw his head back and just start belly laughing. He was being so funny!

Well I guess for starters, I have never done a blog and I just thought they were for old married people with kids. I am a sophomore at UVU and am going into the health education program. It will probably change but right now I am happy with it. I have an older brother and an older sister, my brother is married and has two kids and lives down the road. My sister and I live at my house because my dad and step mom are serving a mission in the Omaha, Nebraska mission. I graduated from Payson high school in 2007. I love being outdoors, snowboarding, swimming, snowmobiling, boating, camping, and playing all sports. I’m afraid of snakes, heights, drowning and losing the people I love most. I love mowing the lawn and doing yard work, I only like to shop if it’s for shoes and I love running around in the rain.
My friends mean the world to me and I don’t know what I would do without them. They are the people who know me the best and have been with me through everything. They are the ones who I can stay up all night with watching Golden Girls and laughing about things that happened days before. That’s all I can think of at the moment , so if anything else happens I will be sure to blog it.
